All parcels are sent Royal Mail 48 tracked within the UK. If a parcel exceeds the weight limit set we will send via courier.

Postage Charges within the UK

All orders – £4.00 (48 Tracked Royal Mail)

Outside the UK

Outside of the UK postage is charged at cost.

Once an order is received a pro forma invoice will be e-mailed back to you stating the postage cost with a secure link to a payment window.

USA ORDERS – As from the 29th August 2025 all orders received from USA will incur a duty cost, this cost will be added onto the invoice at checkout, we will then calculate shipping costs (Royal Mail / USPS) and e-mail a pro forma invoice to the customer with a secure payment link. We will then be responsible for paying the duty to US customs before the order is delivered to the US customer. In the case of an order exceeding the Royal Mail weight restriction, we will send the order via courier, duty will not be added to the final invoice as this will be payable by the customer to the courier upon delivery.

Other Non UK customers are responsible for any duty or import taxes charged by their respective Customs Service upon the arrival of goods in their country. We do not include invoices in our parcels as a matter of security however we will provide them if requested to. Customers should contact their respective customs service for details of any charges that may be levied, or regulations that may be applicable.

Customers who do not pay these charges may have their parcel(s) returned to us by the customs service concerned. In the event of this happening the customer would forfeit the postage paid and would be liable for a second postage charge if they would like the parcel(s) to be re-sent.

Any item that we have supplied can be returned within 30 days provided that it is in re-saleable condition and our product seal is unbroken, except in the case of a Special Order when return may, although not always, be refused and, if excepted, will be subject to a 25% re-stocking charge.

All returns must be logged with Metcalfe Models & Toys Ltd and approved for return before posting back to us, please e-mail us to explain why you would like to return your items – info@metcalfemodels.com (Please note we can only accept returns if the items were purchased directly from Metcalfe Models & Toys Ltd, proof of purchase will be required.)

The customer is responsible for paying return shipping costs. Please obtain proof of postage as we cannot be held responsible for any returned goods lost in transit. To return a product please return to the following address along with your despatch note containing your order number and a short explanation as to why you are returning. – Metcalfe Models & Toys Ltd, Bell Busk, Skipton, BD23 4DU.

Refund total will be the value of the products plus VAT (where applicable) less the original shipping costs. You will be notified once the refund has been processed. Once the value has been refunded to the original payment card used this can then take between 5 – 7 working days to show on your bank statement.

Items returned from overseas should clearly state “Returned Goods – Unsuitable” on the outside wrapper, and where applicable, a CN22 or equivalent Customs Declaration form be completed as failure to do so may incur UK Customs & Excise import duty which will be deducted from any refund.
