As you have come through to this area, you must be interested to learn a bit about us.Nick and Judy Metcalfe started the company in 1991 as a part time venture working from home. Our original intention was to produce card toys for sale in gift and toy stores but it soon became clear that our real talents were in the design of building kits for model railways.

We set up in full time production in 1995 working from a start-up unit in Skipton on the aptly named "Sidings Business Park" on "Engine Shed Lane". The kit range at that time was mainly un-cut and printed on thin card. Two years later we moved to a nice modern office building up the road and it was there that we purchased our first die cutting press and along came our "Premium" ready cut kits.

In 1999 we purchased a derelict farm and had it renovated for our new works and office. Shortly after moving in we got rid of our ageing printing equipment and put in all new state of the art machinery which should hold us in good stead for many new products in the future. 2002 saw the building projects come to an end, with the completion of our new warehouse. All we need to do now is keep the designs rolling off the production line.

We are a small company with a happy and loyal workforce. We enjoy what we do and we do what we enjoy.We hope you will enjoy our products too!
